PT-WFD GENEARL ASSEMBLY AND CO-OPERATION MEETING 2nd and 3rd December 2010 - Helsinki, Finland
The next General Assembly of PT-WFD will take place on 2nd of December 2010 at SYKE in Helsinki. The GA will be followed by the Co-operation meeting of the involved proficiency test provider for discussing the 2010 experiences and the planning of the 2011 activities.
7th WORKSHOP - PROFICIENCY TESTING IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY, MICROBIOLOGY AND LABORATORY MEDICINE - Current practice and future directions 3rd - 6th October 2011, Istanbul, Turkey
EURACHEM, in cooperation with CITAC and EQALM, cordially invite members of the international analytical community to their 7th Workshop. Four days will be devoted to Training Courses, Lectures, Short communications, Poster Sessions and Working Group discussions. The official language of the Workshop will be English. The Technical sessions will include both invited lectures, selected short communications and poster presentations. Lectures and Working Group Topics will be:
- Implementing the requirements of ISO/IEC 17043 by PT/EQA Providers
- Accrediting PT/EQA Providers to ISO/IEC 17043
- Establishing acceptability criteria in microbiology PT/EQA schemes
- Evaluating participant performance in qualitative PT/EQA schemes
- Establishing PT/EQA schemes in developing countries
- Pre and post analytical aspects in EQA
The workshop will be preceeded by a training session on "Establishing traceability and uncertainty of assigned values and assisting participants to assess/estimate their measurement uncertainty using PT results"
